Happy St. Valentine’s day everyone! My coworkers and family members showered me with some sweet treats…

Looks yummy! However I will have to make sure to ration the goodies to keep my weight-loss going! (Down 9lb and counting)

NO-BAKE Chocolate Cake (Japanese Nama-Choco Cake)

I totally want to try this recipe out for Valentine’s Day! I will have to have a lot of helpers to eat it though – the ingredients are quite rich! 

Makes 16 Pieces

Ingredients:

  • 15 mini kit-kat bars (780 cal.)
  • 6 milk chocolate bars (Hershey – 1260 cal.)
  • 1/2 c. Heavy whipping cream (408 cal)
  • Cocoa powder (12 cal. per Tbsp)
  • Powder sugar (31 cal per Tbsp)
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter (102 cal.)
  • Slivered almonds (optional)

Recipe Total: 2491 calories (without almonds)

Piece Total: approx 156 calories

Japanese Snackies~! Pocky, Ramune and did I mention Pocky???

Went to China Capital Arts yesterday at Southland Mall and picked up some Japanese sweets! Starting from the top left: Strawberry Pocky, Tropical Pocky (Mango Pineapple Flavored), a premium type Chocolate Pocky, Raspberry Ramune Soda, Choco Baby candies, and Midi Chocolate Pocky. Yum! :3
