Today is the first day of fall and I put my little nod to the season on the front door. 😉
In honor of the new season, I’ve been working on a new to do list! Yay right? XD On it are seasonal outings, fall cleanup projects and a pre-holiday workout plan. I don’t want to get too crazy, but I already started my workout plan! I can’t wait to see some tone! 😀
Its the last day of summer here in Michigan and the jack-o-melon has been carved!
It’s been a topsy turvy year with a lot things that didn’t go as planned, but I am so grateful for all the things I was able to do this summer. 🙂 My favorites being visiting Port Huron in torrential downpours, going up north, and touring the Hackley and Hume homes. But as cool as those outings were, it isn’t so much about what you do, but who you do it with and I am grateful for my siblings who roll with my spontaneous plans! Couldn’t do it without you guys! 😁
Happy last day of summer everyone, and cheers to a happy fall!
The other night I found a few pins that recommended using old bottles as vases and… I. Was. Hooked. Armed with some vintage bottle research, I journeyed to the local antique shop.
After locating my foundational pieces, I expanded my color palette and traipsed around the shop mixing and matching a variety of jars, vases, candle holders and bottles. When I ran out of fingers, I proudly walked them to the front where the cashiers oohed and ahhed over my finds.
Once unpacked, I put my collection together to show off to my family.
I know money can’t buy happiness, but it got really close tonight. 😊
