Misty Cosplay

Since I started playing Pokemon Go! over the summer I’ve wanted to dress up as Misty for Halloween. :3

As stated previously with my Vanellope Cosplay I am not interested in sewing an outfit from scratch and much prefer to piece one together using real clothing items not costume items. Misty was super easy to do because I decided to go for the inspired look instead of being exact. I got red suspenders and a Togepi plush on eBay, a golden tee from Target and then used shorts and chucks that I already own and my own hair instead of a wig. It was easy, only cost me $20 and I still had children recognizing my character so wins all around! 😀 😀 😀

Welcome Emmett!

Today was the baby shower for my cousin’s soon-to-be-here son Emmett. Having purchased for numerous showers and causes in the past, I am a snob when it comes to baby clothing. I only like Carter’s brand because they have quality items and the softest fabric. Alas even with Carter’s I was finding that they had prints that were scratchy so I had to touch every piece of baby clothing in J. C. Penny’s before I fell in love with this little set…

TBH there is nothing quite like a good bear hug – and the fact that it is camping themed doesn’t hurt. 🙂 Hope you like it Emmett!
