Nothing cuts the excitement more than the cold hard truths about projected sales and expenses.
What is very vague at this point is how much I’ve actually spent on my supplies/tools and how many of the items will be made by the time the convention comes up in November. Right now it looks like I have about $490 worth of completed inventory with an additional $60 worth of items that are close to completion. My expenses for this event have exceeded $550 dollars without covering the supplies, tools, transportation or food cost.
Still working the numbers. At this point, it looks like I will have to pull off a miracle to actually come home from the convention richer.
