Senior Thoughts

Well peeps… I did it; I did come up with something to say at the Homeschool Commencement Ceremony today.  I composed this last night while my family was watching the Detroit Pistons vs. the Miami Heat game and brushed this up up to the time for rehersal.

Senior Thoughts
by Anna

As I sit

In thought filled reverie

I realize

For the first time

High school is done for me

No more of mother’s prodding

No more childish tears

With great gladness

Schools out!

And my family cheers!

Four years of focused learning

Filled with homework

And with toys

Laced with a bunch

Of girlish talk

Of makeup and of boys.

I’m not of genius quota

But I’ve been given what I’ve got

And through these years of high school

I’ve learned it’s best

To be who you are,

And forget…

Who you…

Are not.

Lol laters!

Commencement Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Homeschool commencement mass in Hamburg and Mom is expecting me to come up with a delightful little speech to present to all the attendees; be they graduate, or be they relative.  Honestly me no think it’s happening cause: deadline is tomorrow, I’m heading into work in just 20 min(its5:53am right now btw) and Becca’s Graduation Party is today. YAY BECCA!  And besides that, for the love of peanuts, what the heck am I to talk about????!  My (usually) creative brain has left on strike and I can’t bribe it to come back.  Scrogg!!!!  Well Gotta blast! Ciao.
